Property

Bitter, sweet, neutral.

Actions

Activate blood and stop bleeding, eliminate dampness and alleviate pain, clear heat and remove toxicity.

Indications

Stomachache, snake bites, rheumatic arthritis, hematochezia, functional uterine bleeding, hematemesis, postpartum bleeding.

Dosage and Administrations

It is pounded into powder for oral taking. 3~6 g is taken after mixing with boiling water. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying.
