Property

Sweet, pungent, cold.

Actions

Expel wind and promote diuresis, clear heat and stop bleeding.

Indications

Barbiers, rheumatic arthritis, skin itch, bloody stranguria, chiblain, hematochezia, bloody dysentery, pruritus vulvae, hemorrhoidal bleeding.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 3~9 g. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded into juice for applying or stir-baked into charcoal and then made powder for applying.
