Property

Pungent, hot, toxic; kidney, spleen and uterus meridians entered.

Actions

Warm the kidney and promote lactation, activate blood to stop bleeding.

Indications

Impotence, stomachache, leucorrhea, agalactia, cold and pain in lumbar and knees, enuresis, metrorrhagia and metrostaxis, hemorrhoidal bleeding.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 6~10 g, or made into pills and powder. Proper dosage is for external application. Decocted for washing.

Cautions

It is contraindicated in case of yin deficiency with effulgent fire.
