Property

Sweet, cold.

Actions

Induce diuresis, treat stranguria, remove toxicity and expel pus, relax the bowels.

Indications

Edema, stranguria, sores and boils, leucorrhea, scabies, hypogalactia.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 3~9 g, or pounded into powder. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying.

Cautions

It is contraindicated in case of deficiency-cold in spleen and stomach and pregnant women.
