The Effect of Root of Siberian Cocklebur

Property

Bitter, neutral, toxic.

Actions

Clear heat, remove toxicity, eliminate dampness.

Indications

Scabies, sores and boils, dysentery, rheumatic arthritis, erysipelas, chyluria, nephritis dropsy, cervicitis, appendicitis, acute laryngeal infection.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 15~30 g, or pounded into juice, or made paste. Proper dosage is for external application, decocted for washing or made into paste for applying on the affected area.

Cautions

Avoid eating pork and Nuo Mi.
