The Effect of Radix Cinnamomi Camphorae

Property

Pungent, warm; liver and spleen meridians entered.

Actions

Activate blood and regulate the flow of qi, dispel wind and eliminate dampness.

Indications

Rheumatic arthritis, traumatic injury, vomiting with watery stools, abdominal distension, scabies.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 3~10 g, or pounded into powder for oral taking. Proper dosage is for external application, decocted for washing.

Cautions

It is contraindicated in case of qi deficiency with endogenous fire.
