The drug is the dried or fresh whole herb of Codium fragile (Sur). Harlot (Family Codiaceae), growing on rocks, and distributed in Liaoning, Hebei, Shandong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Taiwan, Guangdong, Hainan and Guangxi of China.
