The Effect of Folium Crotonis

Property

Pungent, warm, toxic; large intestine and Sanjiao meridians entered.

Actions

Expel wind, activate blood, kill parasites and remove toxicity.

Indications

Traumatic injury, rheumatic arthritis, malaria, snake bites, sores and tinea, herpes zostor.

Dosage and Administrations

It is pounded into powder. 0.03~0.15 g of the powder is taken each time after mixing with wine or filling in capsules. Proper dosage is for external application, soaked in wine for applying on the affected area or decocted for washing.
