Property

Slightly sweet, neutral.

Actions

Clear lung-heat, relieve cough, remove toxicity and resolve swelling.

Indications

Whooping cough, sores and boils, sore throat, tuberculosis, dermatitis rhus.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 9~15 g. Proper dosage is for external application. Stir-bake it into charcoal and then pound into powder for applying, or decocted for washing.
