Property

Bitter, astringent, neutral; heart and liver meridians entered.

Actions

Stop bleeding and astringe wound.

Indications

Hematemesis, nose bleeding, urine with blood, scalds, alimentary tract hemorrhage, pemphigus, operation field bleeding.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 15~30 g. Proper dosage is for external application. Stir-bake it intoc charcoal and then pound into powder for applying.
