Property

Pungent, bitter, cool, slightly toxic; lung and stomach meridians entered.

Actions

Dispel wind, relieve exterior syndrome, clear heat and remove toxicity, promote the flow of qi, activate blood.

Indications

Cold, lumbago, traumatic injury, nephropyelitis, abdominal distension, stomachache, pneumonia, bronchitis, amygdalitis, thromboangiitis obliterans.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 9~15 g, or pounded into powder, 3~4.5 g. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying.
