Property

Sweet, mild, neutral; spleen, stomach and lung meridians entered.

Actions

Nourish yin to clear away the lung heat.

Indications

Chronic cough, scrofula, angina, aphonia, unhealing ulcer.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 3~9 g, or made into powder. Proper dosage is for external application, applying on the affected area or sprinkling with its powder.

Cations

It is contraindicated in case of weakness of the spleen and the stomach with dampness stagnation.
