Sweet, pungent, warm.

Actions

Warm the kidney, harmonize the spleen and stomach, regulate the flow of qi and alleviate pain, kill parasites.

Indications

Abdominal pain, rheumatic arthritis, nasal eczema, vomiting caused by stomach-cold, ascariasis, tinnitus, cold hernia.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 9~15 g, or soaked in wine, or pounded into juice. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying or decocted for washing.

Cautions

It is contraindicated in case of qi deficiency with excessive fire.
