Actions

Astringe intestine to relieve diarrhea, astringe lung to relieve cough, alleviate pain.

Indications

Chronic diarrhea and dysentery, chronic cough due to lung deficiency, abdomen and stomach pain, joint pain.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 3~9 g. Roasted with honey for relieving cough, stir-baked with vinegar for relieving bleeding and pain.

Cations

With a tendency of addiction, it is contraindicated in case of early stage of cough, diarrhea and dysentery of excess heat.
