Actions

Clear heat and stop bleeding, relieve cough and resolve phlegm.

Indications

Dysentery, enteritis, nose bleeding, hematemesis, metrorrhagia and metrostaxis, cystitis, bronchitis. Snake bites, burns and scalds for external application.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 9~15 g, or made into pills or powder. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying.

Cautions

It is contraindicated for deficiency cold in spleen and stomach.
