Ingredients

• Bei Sha Shen 9 g,
• Mai Dong 15 g,
• Bing Tang 3 g,
• Sheng Di 15 g,
• Yu Zhu 4.5 g.

Explanation

Sheng Di and Mai Dong: Tonifying yin and clearing heat, promoting the secretion of saliva or body fluid, moistening dryness.

Yu Zhu and Bei Sha Shen: Tonifying yin and promoting the secretion of saliva or body fluid, aiding Mai Dong and Sheng Di in Reinforcing the stomach and promoting the secretion of saliva or body fluid.

Bing Tang: Tonifying the lung and stomach, tempering the actions of all the other ingredients.

The Effect of 益胃汤

Effect

Reinforce the stomach and promote the secretion of saliva or body fluid, moisten the lung and relieve cough.

Indications

Diabetes, chronic gastritis, infantile anorexia.

Administrations

Decoct in water for oral dose to be taken twice.
