Actions

Clear heat and promote the secretion of saliva or body fluid, strengthen the stomach and whet appetite, remove toxicity and resolve swelling.

Indications

Sore throat, poor appetite, diarrhea, dysentery, indigestion, sores and boils, tinea, constipation due to intestine heat, hypogalactia, dry cough, hoarseness.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 9~15 g, or large dose can be 30~60 g. Proper dosage is for external application. Pounded into powder for applying or decocted for washing.
