液門

Yemen(TE2,液门) is an acupuncture point in the meridian named Shaoyang Sanjiao Meridian of Hand. It is the Ying-spring and water point of the sanjiao.

Location

In the web at the junction of the red and white skin, between the ring finger and little finger.

Indication

• ①Headache, redness of the eye, tinnitus, deafness, swelling and pain in the throat;
• ②malaria;
• ③pain in the hand and arm.

Method

Puncture obliquely 0.3-0.5 inch towards the interspace of the metacarpal bones. Moxibustion is applicable.
