Property

Bitter, cold; liver meridian entered.

Actions

Soothe the liver, extinguish wind, resolve phlegm.

Indications

Obstinate arthralgia, tetanus, lockjaw caused by apoplexy, spasm of muscles and vessels, deafness caused by wind-heat.

Dosage and Administrations

It is made into pills and powder for oral taking, 0.3~1.5 g.

Cautions

It is contraindicated in case of deficiency of blood and qi stagnation.
