Property

Sweet, neutral; lung, spleen and bladder meridians entered.

Actions

Induce diuresis, treat stranguria, eliminate phlegm, resolve swelling and remove toxicity.

Indications

Insomnia, sore and boils, scabies, difficult urination, favus of the scalp, leucorrhea, stranguria with turbid discharge, cough with excessive phlegm, internal haemorrhage, external haemorrhage, retension of dead fetus.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 9~15 g, or made into powder. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying or decocted for washing.

Cautions

It is contraindicated in case of deficiency cold in the stomach.
