Ingredients
- Zhi Zi (Fructus Gardeniae) 9 g,
- Dan Dou Chi (Semen Sojae Preparatum) 9 g.
Explanation
Zhi Zi: The principal drug, being bitter in flavor and cold in nature, purging pathogenic heat.
Dou Chi: Relieving restlessness and assisting Zhi Zi in removing heat.

Effect
Clearing away pathogenic heat to relieve restlessness.
Indications
Syndrome due to mild attack of exogenous heat on Qi system or lingering fever in the later stage of a disease, marked by fever, fullness in the chest, mania, insomnia due to fidget even with the body turning over in bed again and again, reddish tongue with slightly yellowish coating, and rapid pulse; including such diseases with the above symptoms as neurosism, chronic cholecystitis, coronary heart diseases, etc.
Administrations
Decocted in water for oral dose to be taken twice.
