Property

Sweet, warm, slightly bitter.

Actions

Expel wind and activate blood, resolve swelling and alleviate pain.

Indications

Traumatic injury, deep-rooted boil, sores and boils, rheumatic arthritis, amenorrhea, lumbago, fungal infection of the hand, leuconychia, incomplete elimination of static blood after delivery.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 3~9 g of the fresh, or pounded into powder or soaked in wine.
Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying or decocted for washing.

Cautions

It is contraindicated to pregnant women.
