Property

Sweet, pungent, cold.

Actions

Clear heat and remove toxicity, treat stranguria and relax the bowels.

Indications

Difficult urination, constipation, leucorrhea, stranguria, diabetes, hypogalactia and insect bites.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 30~60 g, or pounded into juice, or made into powder. Proper dosage is for external application. Stir-bake it into charcoal, and then pound it into powder for applying.

Contraindication

It is contraindicated in case of weakness in spleen yang.
