Ingredients
- Bai Zhu 3 g,
- Fu Ling 3 g,
- Zhi Mu 3 g,
- Qing Pi 1.2 g,
- Hou Po 2.4 g,
- Huang Qin 6 g,
- Gan Cao 1.5 g,
- Sheng Jiang 3 g.
Explanation
Bai Zhu and Fu Ling: Strengthening the spleen and inducing diuresis so as to eradicate the source of phlegm.
Sheng Jiang: Dispersing wind-cold, warming the middle energizer to stop vomiting, warming lung to stop cough.
Zhi Mu: Clearing heat and purging fire, nourishing yin and moistening dryness.
Qing Pi :Moving qi and soothing the liver, breaking qi and resolving stagnation.
Huang Qin: Clearing heat and removing toxicity.
Hou Po: Promoting the circulation of qi.
Zhi Gan Cao: Invigorating the spleen and stomach, tempering the actions of all the other ingredients.
