Property

Astringent, slightly bitter, neutral; lung, spleen, liver and bladder meridians entered.

Actions

Tonify the spleen and stomach, induce diuresis and activate blood, astringe the intestines.

Indications

Edema, favus on the scalp, uterine bleeding, leucorrhea, dysentery, stranguria, scabies, impetigo, gastroenteritis.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 6~9 g. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying.
