The drug is the dried or fresh twig or leaf of Fortunearia sinensis Rehd. et wils. (Family Hamamelidaceae), growing in forests on mountain slopes or in crevices, and distributed in Shaanxi, Henan, Anhui, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hubei and Sichuan province.
