- Dang Gui 80 g,
- Chuan Xiong 80 g,
- Bai Zhi 80 g,
- Wei Ling Xian 80 g,
- Gou Ji 40 g,
- Niu Xi 160 g,
- Ji Xue Teng 40 g,
- Hai Feng Teng 80 g,
- Ren Shen 40 g,
- Chuan Wu 40 g,
- Cao Wu 40 g.
Explanation
Mu Gua: Dispelling wind-damp, soothing tendons and activating collaterals, resolving dampness for harmonizing stomach.
Cao Wu and Chuan Wu: Dispelling wind-damp, warming meridians to alleviate pain.
Ren Shen: Tonifying qi.
Dang Gui and Chuan Xiong: Soothing the liver and tonifying blood.
Gou Ji: Dispelling wind-damp, tonifying the liver and kidney, strengthening waist and knees.
Ji Xue Teng: Promoting the flow of blood and nourishing blood, relaxing tendons and activating collateral.
Wei Ling Xian and Hai Feng Teng: Dispelling wind-damp, dredging meridians.
Niu Xi: Activating blood and dredging meridians, tonifying the liver and kidney, strengthening tendon and bone, promoting diuresis and relieving stranguria, conducting fire (blood) to go downward.
Bai Zhi: Expelling wind and releasing exterior, alleviating pain, drying dampness and treating leucorrhea.
