Sweet, sour, warm; spleen and liver meridians entered.

Actions

promote the secretion of saliva, tonify blood, regulate the flow of qi, alleviate pain.

Indications

Scrofula, toothache, sores and boils, traumatic bleeding, stomachache, hiccup, polydipsia.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 5~10 lychees, or soaked in wine. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying.

Cautions

It is contraindicated in case of yin deficiency with excessive fire.
