Property

Sweet, bitter, astringent, neutral; heart and lung meridians entered.

Actions

Tonify the heart and astringe the lung, resolve dampness and check diarrhea.

Indications

Diarrhea, leucorrhea, cough with phlegm and asthma, palpitation, choking sensation in chest and cardiac pain.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 3~9 g, or made into pill and powder. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying or decocted for washing.
